An all-in-one cleansing, toning, and gently exfoliating peeling pad with BHA and PHA, a mild alternative to AHA.
This retexturizing peeling pad has a pH of 4.5, which is an optimal pH for creating a sub-acid protective barrier from environmental pollutants, while exfoliating dead skin cells for an even and smooth texture. It is formulated with gluconolactone, a mild PHA (poly hydroxy acids) acid similar to AHA but more suitable for sensitive skin due to its larger molecular size. Betaine salicylate is a form of beta hydroxy acid (BHA), combining salicylic acid and betaine, a moisturizing compound derived from sugar beets to neutralize irritation. It is categorized as a mild exfoliant, acne treatment, and helps improve uneven skin tone and texture. Moisturizing ingredients, such as organic aloe vera in place of water, and sodium hyaluronate keep skin hydrated, while beta-glucan, a polysaccharide humectant, soothes and reduces the redness of sensitive skin. A touch of essential oil blends from invigorating Damask rose oil and neroli from bitter orange flower, provide soothing and de-stressing aromatherapy.
How to use: Put index and middle fingers into finger mitt and gently wipe across cleansed face and neck. Follow with treatment serum or moisturizer. For daytime use, always follow with sunscreen for UVA/UVB protection.
